Room 423: Only single containers of each solvent in use are to be stored in this room in your assigned shelf area. Clean up spills promptly. Be sure all containers are marked for contents and lab.
Room 163: Only sealed solvent containers are to be stored in your designated area. Hazardous waste may be stored temporarily on the shelf just inside the door. Be sure all containers are marked for contents and lab.
Solvents Safety Note:
Check with Environmental Health and Safety chemical waste management staff about evaporation of solvents from containers, as well as about storage of empty cans in the hallway.
